I just got back from a vacation or my druid phone saved me a bunch of money. I was staying in a hotel that one of $18.00 per day to access the Internet. I simply dial that 611 and got a hold of Verizon. I told them I wanted to activate my hot spot on my Droid phone. I then used the Droid phone as my hot spots for my personal notebook. I use all week and it was faster than most hotels. Next time you’re traveling consider using your Droid as the hotspot instead of paying the hotel fee for the daily or weekly rate of using the Internet. Most hotels have really slow Internet. Your android can actually be set up so that more than one computer can access it. If you travel with your family you can have up to five computers all accessing the android. This can save you a lot of money.
It does cost extra. I believe it’s about $20.00 per month. But you can call them and turn it on and off and get the prorated bill. The only other negative I can think of is that it does bring our battery quickly. How so you might want leave the android on the charger while using it as a hot spot. Good Luck.
